This cards where all made with Crafty Secrets images from there Joys of Life Booklet and used paper from their paper pads. It took me less then two hours to make all 6 of the cards and that's with the kids interruptions
The paper is Star Dreams and just added ribbon and button from my stash.
The Paper is from Crafty Secrets Earthy Paper Pad and buttons from my stash and of course had to add some Stickles
Paper from the Crafty Secrets and Prima flowers and Stickles and Liquid Pearls
The paper ribbon is by Flair and added some Dew Drops
This one I added Beadazzle to it

This last card I used stamps from Crafty Secerts. I used Distress Ink and stamped on Mulberry Paper.

Well I'm hoping to get going on my blog so here is just a couple things that I have been up too.and Just going to keep it short and simple for a bit. This Card was alot of fun to make I used Distress Ink and Stamps from Crafty Secrets

I was just playing with my new butterfly Die cut and embossing set for the Cuttlebug. Its got some fine tuning that needs to be done to it but I like the starts of it. The stamp is from SUInk

Cherish Wall Hanging

Well I"m still not feeling very crafty I"m getting there though. I did manage to make this wall hanging. I was thinking about how much I cherish my children right now. I know the picture isn't the greatest my battery was about to die when I took it and I haven't had a chance to mess with it since. I used mostly My Minds Eye products and some Stickles and Heidi Swapp Cherish Stamp. I used foam board for the 3D affect.

I just wanted every one to know that I haven't forgotten about my blog. I will be back I just need to take some time off of crafting and bloging. I will still post just won't be regular for awhile till I get thing back together at home. Since the start of the new year alot has happened and changed at my house. I just have to adjust and heal for awhile. I hope every one understands. I hope things won't be outta wack for to long. I do miss my crafty time but I have other thing I have to handle right now.

Wreck This Journal

Well now that Christmas is over I can get back to blogging regularly again. I really haven't done much scrappen or stamping the past week other then Christmas stuff and then I just needed a short break to spend extra time with the kiddos playing with all there neat new goodies.

My little Bro Nick is so awesome. He got me this book for Christmas. Its a journal that you wreck just as the title says. It is very inspiring for artist creating.
Remember all those years of the teacher telling your to color inside of the lines. Well here I got to color outside of the lines. I have always been kinda drumming to my own beat but this was kinda hard for me to do at first. But then I deciede that it was fun.

Then one night when the kids feel asleep I just started using what was even on my desk just sitting there. And started Gluing I won't call it a work of art but it was alot of fun and really got some ideas in my head that I have been playing with.

Believe and Merry Christmas

I did this card a couple months ago. But thought I would post it now because I can't show what I have been working on just in case family peeks on here.

The back ground I used alcohol ink on glossy paper. The Angel I stamped on Vellum and colored the back side of it. I stamped and embossed the Believe. The metal is from my stash of things I have found. I did use the alcohol ink on them because they where silver. The Stamp Set is from Crafty Secrets, Ranger Alcohol Ink, Copic Markers, and the fiber is from Basic Grey.

I hope every on has a blessed and Merry Christmas and remember the true meaning to Christmas. That Jesus was born to give us hope and some one we can always Believe in to be here for us. Jesus is the Reason the Season.

I will show what I have been working on after Christmas when my family gets there gifts.

Here is this weeks Techno Stamper s Sketch Challenge (TSSC48)

The Cup Stamp is from Unity Stamps. I colored it in with Copic markers. I added Liquid Applique to in the inside of the cup to give it a Frothy Look to it . I added some high lights using a white pen. The lace I used was was off white so I just colored it with my Copic so it would match the mug.

Once Upon a Time
Last night I was having kinda wave of creativity. After a bad that is and I just started ripping, cutting, Stamping, Glueing. All I can say is I felt alot better after doing this little wall hanging. I was in needs of Gods Angels but I didn't have any angels to play with so the next best thing is butterflies. Next to Moose Butterflies are my favorites.

Well I started off with a peice of 6x6 basic Grey paper. Then I ripped a peice of paper from Flower Soft and distressed it with ink. The top layer of paper is Mulberry I stamped on it and sprayed it with water and the did the same stamp over it again but just in a few spots. All the stamps, Stickers and the Angel Image (the only angel I could find in my stash) are all from Crafty Secerts
The wings on the Little Princess are two layers. The bottom layer is just the wings stamped on Star Dream Paper and the top layer is on vellum and then colored the underside with Copics. And I "pop" her up. And I just love Stickling Things.
I finished it off with some buttons and ribbon in my stash. This was alot of fun. And durning it God reminded me that He's here with me no matter how bad of a day I have. And today when I was going though one of the board I belong too some one did a tag with this verse that went along with what I was feeling.

Moulin Rouge Card

I just am loving this card. I don't know now if I"m going to give to the person I intended it for. I might just keep it. I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the corset and added ribbon to the bottom of it. I use Crafty Secrets French Mail stamp set I also Crafty Secrets Journal notes and Stickers on this card. The script on the upper left was made using an embossing folder in the Cuttlebug. I used alot of Distressing Ink on this card I also used the Distress Stickles and Embossing Powder.
On the inside of the Corset I stamped a bra from Crafty Secrets Support the Girls Set. On the inside I"m going to Write Merry Christmas you naughty boy looking in a girls Corset.

Just some Christmas Cards

Well I tried out for the SUInk DT but I didn't make it and that's okay cause I just love making cards these days. Well here are some of the cards I used when I tried

For this card I cut out the scalloped circle using the slice and cut a window on the top of the card. As you can see I Stamped the Santa on the inside. The pattered paper is from Doodlebug and
I love SUInk Oh Holly Night Set. Thats where this Mary stamp is from I colored her in with Copics

I just love this card I made it for my hubby one day.The paper is from Creative Imaginations. I also used Grunge board and sprayed it with Tattered Angels Gimmer Mist. The stamps are from SUInks Kiss the Cook Set.

Well I hope every one has a great weekend. I'm going to be creating tonight and tomorrow after the tree is up. Sunday it sounds like we are going to be getting a good winter storm so that makes for good stampen and scrappen weather. Hopefully I will get some of my Christmas projects done so I can get some challenges done I have been wanting to do.

WOW what a crazy past couple of weeks. I have been sick the kids have been sick. I got behind on house work. Well hopefully tomorrow I will gets caught up on the challenges I want to do this week. White Snowman Card Whachadoin' Wednesday 17

This week on the SUInk Blog the Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge is to make a card using 90% white. I'm not sure if making the card mostly white or getting a good pic of a mostly white card is more difficult. I think I"m going to cast my vote with taking the picture. I think I'm going to try to retake it again tomorrow if its sunny out.

The Snowman is from SUInk's Santas Little Helpers set. I used Color Box ink to stamp him and used Glitter embossing powder on him to add a bit of sparkle. Then I matted him on some Bazzill Cardstock. For the back ground I just ripped strips of white paper and put it on a mat. Not much to it but I really do love how it looks. I really want to try tomorrow to get a better picture of it with natural lighting.

For Dec Renee had a sketch for us but for some reason I am not getting it to copy and paste or down load right now. Make sure you check out the Let's Scrap Design Team Blog.

I started by matting my pictures on orange CS and using Spiced Marmalade Distress ink
on the edges.  I used My Slice to cut out the tags behind the two smaller
pictures. I used Pine Needles and Walnut Stain Distress Ink on the tags on
the large mat.

Get warm by the fire TSSC 45

Well Thanksgiving went great I love spending time with my family. My oldest daughter is have a great time in North Carolina.

Here is the Monday Lunch Time Sketch this week from the Techo StamperHere what I came up with from the sketch.
I cut the ovals out with my Creative Memories cutters. I used SUInk Aspen Stamp Set for the fire place and the Young lady warming by the fire. I colored them in using my Copic Markers and I used Spica pens on the fire to give it a bit of twinkle. The Paper is from K and Company. This card really makes me wish I had a fire place in my house. The Saying is from SUInk Holiday Sentiments Set. The last thing I added was the eyelets to the three corners to finish it off.

WHATCHADOIN WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE #16

This Wednesday challenge at SUInk was to make a Christmas card using non tradional Christmas colors. I love purples so I just had to use purple in my card and this is what I came up with for this weeks Whatchadoin Wednesday Challenge

I started with purple card stock and found the patterned paper by Creative Memories and cut it into strips. I inked around the edges using Pearlescent Purple Brilliance. I cut out my ovel and stamped the trees on it from SUInk Santa's Little Helpers. I colored the trees in using my Copic markers. The Happy Holidays is from SUInks Holiday Sentiment set. Its stamped with Versa Magic Pink Petunia and I inked the edge of the ovel with it also. The Flower Rain Drops are from Fiskers and I added Heidi Swapp Bling to the card. I really liked how it turned out. To me its still very Christmasie with out the red and green.

Cookies and Wreaths, Yummy Christmas Treats

OH my goodness I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this week already it seems like this year has flown by. This year my parents are taking my oldest with them to North Carolina to see my Brother and Sister in Law. There son is the same age as our daughter and there bestest buds and they miss each other a lot.

Well on to the crafting.

I had a lot of fun making this wreath. First I cut card stock and pattered paper I use Reminisces in to 1 x 5 inch strips. I used a hot glue gun to loop them over. (hot glues dries a whole lot faster) I then hot glued them on to a Styrofoam wreath in 4 rows. I cut out the the snowflakes and circles using the Slice. I used SUInk stamp sets Snow Day and Holiday Sentiments to stamp the images. I colored them in with Copic and Spica to color them in. I added Iced Stickles to them. On the Merry Christmas circle I made 1/4 x 4 inch strips and looped them behind.

What is Chrismas with out cookies. I always love getting the pre mixed cookie jars. I love how they look and so easy to make cookies with. Well when I got Kiss the Cook stamp set from SUInk that was the first thing I thought of.
I stamped the images on cardstock and colored them in with Copics and Spica. Yes I just got the Spica pens too. They are made by Copics and are glitter pens, they are wonderful to work with. Then I cut the images out and put them on the tag. The letters are by Making Memories.
On the back of the tag are the mixing and cooking dirctions. I made a strip for the botton I had to put the cute little stamps from the set on the tag also. I used my Cropadile to put an eyelet in the tag and put in on the ribbon around the neck of the jar.
For the top I cut out the circles with the Slice. Stamped the cookie sheet on there. The Warm Greetings was 1 stamp but being their clear stamps I cut the words apart and put them on the stamp block.

WHATCHADOIN WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE #15 Gift Bag and Bonus Ornament

This weeks Whatchadoin Wednesday Challenge on the SUInk Blog was to make a Gift Bag I had made an ornament earlier this week so I thought I would throw that on this post also.

For the Gift Bag I cut out the bag on my Pazzles, I used Deep Berry Red by WorldWin. I stamped my trees from SUInk Snow Days set on acetate using StazOn ink. I flipped it over and colored it using Shapie Markers. Then I flipped it back over and uses a white Galaxy Marker and filled in the back where I colored. I added white "stickes using Inkssentials white pen. The ribbon is by KI Memories.

Joyful Memories 2S4U Challenge

I have been keeping up with this blog for a few weeks and this is the first time I have taken part in one of there challenges, make sure you check out 2 Sketches 4 You. Well I wanted my card to look like something you pulled out of your Grandmas drawer and its been sitting in there for years and years. The stamp is by Crafty Secrets from there Sweet Kids Set. I colored it in with Copic Markers and added some Stickles to the snow on the trees and ground. Then I took distressing ink over the top of it. I mated the image on Star Dream paper and Best Creation paper. The ribbon was a cream color so I took Tattered Angels Forrest Green Glimmer Mist and sprayed it to change the color. The Joy Memories cut also by Crafty Secrets was the prefect title for this card I distressed and Stickled that also. I tore and folded just a bit of the corners of the mulberry paper.

Over on the blog Techo Stamper she post a Monday Lunchtime Sketch this week it was to make a tag. You can see the challenge HERE. Well I got the Moose Stamp this week I ordered it from a wonderful little company I just found and its located here in Southern Minnesota over in Pine Island call Stamps by Judith. Well I have a thing for moose so I just had to use it and I'm getting in the Christmas swing. I stamped the moose on some Bazzill CS and colored it with Sharpie Markers. I cut the tag out on the Pazzles. I also used the pen tool on the Pazzles to write out Merry Christmoose.

Turkey Boxers and Green Houses

We had a Thanksgiving Crop at the Store Friday night and I made these cute little boxes and we filled them with goodies to give to every one.
I used my Pazzle to cut out the boxes and both the scalloped and reg. circles I used SUInk turkey on there Bountiful Harvest Set. I colored in the turkey with colored pencils. And got them all glued together. The Thanksgiving Stickers are from SRM Stickers.

Over at a wonderful blog I found call I{heart}2stamp They had a "Sketch For You To Try Saturday" (AKA SFYTT) Below is the sketch. Make sure you check out her blog she is very talented.

Well of course I had to use the new SUInk Deer Ol Santa stamp set that I had just gotten. I was going though my stackes (yes I said stackes) of paper looking for just that right peice and I found this wonderful striped paper by K & COmpany and on the back side it was a wonderful green with snowflakes. I had the perfect shade of pink Coordinates CS to go with it and some CS from Archives that was the the perfet green. I love the Rendeer that are on the stamp set. And the cozy house.
I stamp all the images on Bazzills CS and cut the circle out with Creative Memories Cutting System. I colored every thing in with Copic Markers I used Stickles on the snow and on the Pick Rendeer Rains. On the Green Rains I used Glitter from DoodleBug. I ripped the Pink Coordinates CS to let the inner core show just a bit.

Whachadoing Wednesday challenge 14

This week it was to make a Christmas Ornament you can check out the original post HERE at SUInk.
I Started by stamping the bear from SUInk's Bear with Me Set. Then I masked it and used Tattered Angels Forest Green Glitter Mist. I then added the the candy cane brad. The Santa Hat is from Penny Black I took it off the the Sheep on Lamb & Mistletoe Stamp. The very Merry Christmas is also a Penny Black stamp from her Holly Day Critters. The largest circle I use Tattered Angels Red Velvet Glitter mist on. I then used stickles on the orniment and added a brad and ribbon to hang it on the tree. I used Creative Memories cutting system to cut out the circles.

The First Thanksgiving (my hubby thinks I have way too Much time on my hands)

Well this whole little project started when I found this post on Split Coast Stampers on how to make a Mayflower ship. You can see the post HERE I though oh I can make that and use the SUInk stamps and make little people around it.

Well I made the ship and wanted it bigger. So I scanned it into the Pazzles and made some changes to it and in larged it. I used distressing ink on it to try to make it look more really. I made the sail and thought it was a good place for the Boat stamp and I used Distressing Ink on that also. Then I made the Stamp the Pilgrims and Indians and thought oh look at the wonderful food stamps that I'm not using.

So I was trying to figure out how to make a table outta paper for the food to set on. Well what I came up with was covering a empty cigarette pack with paper and I used wooden kabob holders for the legs I just cut them done and used some distress ink on them and the the table top . So I stamp the rest of the images and cut them out I stamped some of them twice so I could layer them. I made bases for all the items just folded about a 1/4 strip of paper in a triangle to stand them all.

WHATCHADOIN WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE #13

This weeks SUInk Whatchadoin Wednesday challenge was to make a scene with stamps. If you want to see there post just click HERE. I know its now Thursday, well probably when I get this post all done it will be Friday. Buts my two year old decieded to stay up till midnight last night well shes doing it again tonight. But any way on to the card.

Well I was cruising though blogs the other day and saw a card with a accordian fold and thought it would be perfet for this challenge. Of course I had to modify it a bit. There folds where all the same size. I did 2,1 1/2, 1, and 1/2 fold on a 10 x 5 1/2 in. peice of paper. I used the Mini Score It for making my score lines. This is what I came up with.

Here the card is all folded up and it will still fit in an A2 envelope

Here's a side view so you can see how I step down folded the scoring on the folds.

I used SUInk Bountiful Harvest and Leaf it to Me stamp Sets. I first stamped the row of corn stocks in a row. Then I stamped the rest of the images. I colored them all in with Copic Markers. The cut them all out with a scissors and glue them on the paper. the corn stock row I did add some stocks with pop dots to add some demention and also I stamped the Turkey twice and layered him also.

Also I am working on the Whachadoin Wednesday Challenge from SUInk but been busy so I haven't been able to finish it. Hopefully when I get done with the class at work tonight I can finish it and get it posted.

I am having too much fun with SUInk Stamps

I just love there stamps. First I stamp the corn stocks on Croyen white paper then the back row of pumpkins. I then stamped more pumpkin the the Pilgrim Boy on anther piece I colored every thing in using Copic markers. I used foamy tape and putting on the pumkins and boy to give it some demension. I used the leaf stamps and stamped them on the back ground. Add some ribbon to the top and used Stickles on the ribbon and on the boys hat, shoes and belt buckle. The Velum saying is from Creative Memories.

Well today I got a New Stamp set from a scrapbooking store in Faribaut I didn't know Penny Black made clear stamps. So of course I had to make a card with them right away. I also got Liquid Applique that I made snow with and Diamond Glaze That I used on the hats. I love playing with products.

You got to love Minnesota to live here. On Sunday we got our first dusting of snow. Yes I said snow. I'm so not ready for it. We have our space heater in the living room cause I really don't want to turn the furnace on yet. We have fuel oil so I really don't want it till I can't go with out. BUt then again with it getting cold I seen to get more crafty things done. YIPPY well till next time keep warm.

Young Love Card

I went to Anchor Paper Monday up in Burnsville and I found this cut Stamp and also a Daisy Border stamp. I used a brayer for the back ground then I used the Daisy stamp with an embossing pad and used clear embossing powder.
I colored him in with colored pencils and I used glitter pens on the flowers.

Pumpkin Patch and Llama Love

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch. The kids had a blast. I just want to post a few picture from there.

They also had sheep and two llamas there. I love taking pictures of animals.

And this llama just loved my oldest and was tiring to give her a llama kiss. My oldest really wants to have her own llama

Waky Wednesday

Well today over at SUInk they had a challenge to do a black and white card (whatachadoing Wednesday? Challenge #10) I couldn't refuse it. I don't have there stamps yet I"m hoping they come in tomorrow so instead I used Crafty Secrets Believe and Art sets. I used Core'dinations Hocus Pocus for the back CS and all the red the black is Bazzill. I embossed black wings on the black paper and I think it looks really net. The flowers are Making Memories and the brads are from BoBunny
I love these bird Stamps I have had them for month and finally yesterday I put this little card together the stamps are by Inkadinkado. I colored the birds in with my copic markers. Also I stamped blue limbs on the blue background to give it a bit more eyecandy.
Well I have to get some more scrappening done. Well I need to scrap and not play with so many stamps. I am getting way behind on my pictures. So tomorrow I think I will hide my stamps from myself. Well unless the Storage units, Inks, and more stamps come in. Then I have to play with them.

Fall Is in the air

Fall is in the air. What a beautiful weekend we had. The leaves are turning colors and you can smell the crisp cool fall air. These cute Little Pumpkins are From the Lets Scrap DT blog. There is a totorial over so go on over and Check it out. They are so easy to make.

Here's a fun fall card I did I just stamped leaves using three differant Ranger Distressing inks, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain. I also disstressed the the edges using the Antique Linen. I stamped the thanks and matted it and added ribbion. This card only took about 5 mins.

This is the litte card I had used to tell about a class at the store. So I just took a peice of Croyen White paper and stamped the bats and words on it using Crafty Secrets Halloween Fun. Then I added the little border the match the outter on.

I love this card I had so much fun with it. The center image is from Crafty Secrets Halloween Booklet. I love the little duck int the rabbit costume. I don't know who made it, It was one of rummage sales finds this summer. I colored him in with copic markers and stamped the Happy Halloween did some matting. The patterened paper is from Creative Imaginations. And of cours I had to add a touch of Stickles. Gotta Love Stickles.
This card was onther quick and easy card to make. I just love the golds, browns and oranges of fall colors. Hopefully soon I will get some scrapbooking in. I have been having so much fun doing cards lately. I was almost caught up with my albums and now I"m way behind again.

When Extreme Maker over was in the area They held a Duct Tape Design Contest well I had to give it a try. The son of the family loves to create with Duct Tape so I figured I would give it a try. Well I made three Albums and a little house to put them in. So here it is. I did add a bit more but forgot to take more pictures before taking it in. Oh well.

Ty Pennington Extreme Home Make Over

Well Extreme Home Make over is in my area and I got to met Ty Pennington. Hey thats big news in our area. I went out to the home site today. Wow that is some thing to watch. Its amazing that they build a house in 4 1/2 days. CRAZYI took this one with my phone I'm waiting for my friend to email me the pictures that she took with her camera.
Today they where getting the windows in I hope to go back out there tonight but will have to see how the kids are doing latters

Saturday Stamp Class

I made this display card for a stamping class this Saturday at the store. If you want more info on it just click here.
I type the words on the computer and inked the edges with Versa Magic Midnight black ink. The stamp set is Crafty Secrets Halloween fun set. I colored the little girl in with copic markers. and used Tim Holtz distressing ink to stamp the border and then used a sponge and filled it in. I had to use stickles on the hat and dress and around the info card. All the card stock is Bazzill other the the poka dots. Thats BoBunnys Double Dot collection.

The Cards I Promised to Post

This card I used Crafty Secerts Stamps and the image is from them also I used Stickles on the stamped image on the flower ropes and in the center of the Prima flower. I colored the image in with Copic markers and the ribbon is from Making Memories.

This is another card using Crafty Secerts Products. I used Bazzil CS and the fiber is Basic Grey.

The world Wings was stamped with Making Memories stamps. THe wings and crown are Crafty Secerts stamps and the patterned paper is from them also. I typed the other words on the computer and printed them on Bazzill cardstock. The ribbon is Making Memories also.

These two cards are on Star Dream card stock and the Patterened Paper is K and Company. On the top card, the "f" is Cloud 9 and I air brushed it with a Copic I used Creative Memories leaf punch to make the small leaves out of Star Dream paper. On the bottom card the I used Heidi Swapp Ghost Letters. The Leaf sticker is from K and Company and the brads are We R Memory Keepers

We started school this week and being we homeschool we are getting back into our routine around. So I"m really going to try to get the pictures taken tomorrow and posted. I did this LO using the Making Memories Noteworthy Collection. We went to the Minnesota Zoo last month one day. This was the Meerkat exhibit they had tunnels that the kids climbed though and one even poped up in the middle of the meerkats.

what a weekend PT 1

well two weekends ago my husband had firefighter school in mankato. He went up bright and early to get to class. Me and the kids met my mom at walmart to do some shopping. While we where there Joel who is two and a half takes off i couldn't find him any where around where we where at so i had them page that he was missing. Some one brought him back right away. Then i had this mother come up to me and tell me that she had seen him walking around the store and asked him where his mommmy was. Then she let him walk way. She told me he didn't have a care in the world where his mommy was/ I so wanted to yell at her that you let him keep walking you idiot.
Then my mom and dad went with me and the kids to home depot so the kids could make butterfly houses at there workshop there that went well then off to mankato we went.
we picked up nick for college and went to Old Navy when we got out my battery had died because i left my lights on. I wish i had the dingy thing in my van. NIck called one of his friends to come jump us. They said of cause we can do that then the people in car next to us said they had some jummper cable they were a couple of high school girls and didn't know how to us them. SO they handed them to nick well nick didn't know how to use them either so i got to teach nick how to jump a car.

Christmas is over.........sniff......sniff

Why is it that when we get older Christmas loses that sirten spark. Now don't get me wrong i still love Christmas. Maybe its not my age though...............Now the stores have the christmas items out before its even November. Thanksgiving doesn't even stand a chance with that happening. Then the week before Christmas is at our toes and all the Christmas item are at 50% off like its over already. DOn't get me wrong i love the sales. But i remember Thanksgiving with all the fall color them waiting to see what Christmas Decorcations will going up around town over the week end. And stores don't decorate like they use to either and don't don't celebrate the same way. You don't see slay rides like you use too. no long lines to see santa. I miss that. I think we have lost the true mean to christmas and that makes me really sad. Because Christmas is so much more then a profit for the stores. Its the Birth of Christ that we are celebrating a time of peace and joy. A time when people act kindly to each. the way we should all year round but for some reason we don't. People talk to each other more. I wish we were like that all year round. Yes i'm glity of it also. I think the spirit of Christmas should be all year and the reason we celebrate Christmas should stay CHRIST. so MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
